Capivara is an R package for segmentation and post-processing of IFU data cubes.
This documentation site is published from the Quarto sources in this repository and mirrors the GitHub README and release notes. The examples shown in the README and homepage are generated from real Capivara runs on MaNGA data rather than schematic placeholders. Version 0.2.0 introduces:
- missing-data-safe exact segmentation with
segment() - medoid-based large-cube segmentation with
segment_big_cube() - optional Sagui-style starlet masking inside both segmentation backends
- variance-aware summaries with
summarize_cluster_spectra() - SNR-guided component selection with
choose_ncomp_by_snr()
